Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation 75% in small stainless steel tanks 25% in French oak barrels. Malolactic and aging in American, French and Hungarian oak.
Aging: 13 months, French, American, and Hungarian small grain oak, medium toast.
Alcohol: 14.5% by vol.
Tasting notes: Bright ruby. Musky, herb-accented cherry and red berry aromas are bright and focused. Juicy and tightly wound, with good cut but a slightly tart edge to its bitter cherry and redcurrant flavors. The nervy finish features lingering spice and rhubarb notes.
Serving: Serve at room temperature (64-68°F)
