KARA Chalone AVA Pinot Noir 2014 100% Pinot Noir, Dijon clones, blocks from mid 1980’s. The Chalone AVA is an American Viticultural Area in the Monterey county of California, located in the Gabilan Mountains east of Soledad. The Antel Vineyard vineyard has limestone and decomposed granite soil. Surrounded by wild thyme, lavender, rosemary and sage. Hand picked, Ten months, French oak Barrels, unfiltered KARA Pinot Noir 2014, has a pretty bouquet of wild strawberry and cranberry fruit on the nose with pretty floral highlights with exotic spices.
