The Pescadero Creek Vineyard is a meticulously farmed 2.5 acres of Pinot Noir situated on a western facing slope in the Santa Cruz Mountains, 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The Pascale family planted the property in 2001, launching their vision of crafting an elegant and focused wine, reminiscent of the finest Burgundy. Low fruit yields and small berries with intense concentration of flavor are accomplished through aggressive pruning and thinning and hand harvesting only the most perfect clusters of fruit. The family strives to high-light the unique micro-environment of their 110 acre estate by keeping yields low and quality high. Today the family produces just 4 barrels per year.
