Fruit-forward, smooth and balanced, Singer Cellars wines are Bordeaux varietals and blends produced from Napa Valley grapes. We practice the old-world winemaking method of bâtonnage, or stirring the lees. This process enhances the wine’s structure, gives it extra body, increases the aromatic complexity, and provides a velvety rich mouthfeel. Each wine ages for up to 20 months in French oak barrels. Between 30% is new oak, with the balance in used French oak barrels. Drinkable upon release, our wines benefit from additional cellar aging, which allows the wine’s complexities to develop and reveal themselves. Tasting Notes Inspired by the famous wines of the Loire Valley and the Bordeaux region of France, winemaker Barry Singer is passionate about working with Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley. His latest offering from Singer Cellars is made with fruit grown in the southern end of the valley. Rich and lively, the wine immediately opens up with heady aromas of fresh red fruits, wild sage, and roasted hazelnuts. On the palate, the flavors are bursting at the seams with vibrant notes of ripe plum, cherry, wild berries, cinnamon, and savory spices. This profile is further complimented by a unique combination of natural richness, bright acidity, silky texture, and a lingering finish. Power, finesse, and satisfaction in every sip! For food pairings, try this full-bodied wine with medium cheeses, stuffed mushrooms, grilled vegetables, baked potatoes with bacon, wild rice salads with dried berries, gourmet sandwiches, roasted chicken with fresh herbs, and beef bourguignon. Singer Cellars showcases Barry Singer’s passion for classic Bordeaux varietal blends. In 2004 Barry pursued a lifelong dream and began making wine. Fast-forward to today, and Singer Cellars is garnering awards and recognition for its silky, accessible yet robust red wines.
