But after three days of mountain air, asado, and award-winning wine, we realized the world doesn't need more wine people. It just needs great wine. Varietal: 100% Malbec Harvest: 2015 Region: Los Chacayes, Uco Valley, Mendoza Altitude: 1250 meters above sea level Soil: Alluvial, with chalky topsoil and loamy clay at the bottom Color: Intense violet-red color with dark tones Aroma: Fruity aromas, full of black fruits, blackberries and ripe plums, along with mineral notes of wet stones Flavor: Lovely medium bodied intense palate, with well-balanced acidity and fine tannins Aging: 6 months in low toasted French barrels Serving: 16º-18ºC Perfect pairing: Grilled steak with Argentinian chimichurri
