Back in 1986, in New Zealand, David and Mark Mason, with friend and winemaker Tony Bish, began with a simple philosophy of making more wine than they could drink, and sharing the rest. The Mason family continues to own the winery to this day. This Pinot Noir has lifted aromas of strawberry, dark cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a gentle hint of fresh mushrooms. Beautiful sweet red fruits on the palate with strawberry, cranberry, and pomegranate wrapped in velvet textured tannins.
