Guy Adams is the fifth generation to live and work the ‘Metala’ Vineyards in Langhorne Creek South Australia which has remained in the family since great great grandfather William Formby bought the property in 1882 and planted vines in 1891. Earlier in 1877, William Formby purchased the old Queens Theatre and renovated it to house the first undercover horse trading bazaar (accommodating nearly 500 horses in yards, boxes and stalls). The Bazaar sign still hangs over the door today.
